The Dignity for All campaign has been very involved in the consultation process for the upcoming Canadian Poverty Reduction Strategy (CPRS).
Over the past few months, members of the DfA team have been meeting with federal policymakers to discuss the CPRS and our model anti-poverty plan. We created a customizable submission form that is sent directly to the federal government, in order to give individuals from coast-to-coast-to-coast the opportunity to voice their concerns about the CPRS process to decision-makers. At the latest count, we have received a staggering 860 responses with this form.
Now, we are pleased to present the next step in Dignity for All’s involvement in the CPRS: our official submission featuring the model anti-poverty plan, in both official languages, to the consultation process.
